Crop Success! :)

Good morning! :)
Friday and Saturday I was a Stampin' Up! vendor at D&L Camp WannaCropAlot. I had a great time and met some really great people! Thanks so much to Darlene and Laura for letting me be a part of their crop. (See you in June!)

I was inspired to make these two cards from a card I had seen on SCS. Simple, easy, & quick. The images on the card were stamped from the 'Holiday Blitz' stamp set & the definitions are from the 'Define Your Life' stamp set. (LOVE that set.. comes in handy for so many different projects!)

Paper: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip, White gel pen
Paper: Certinley Celery, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Green galore, White gel pen

Box in a Bag

I made this cute little bag by following the 'Box in a Bag' tutorial on SCS.  Inside, I put a gift card for a friend for her birthday.  The patterned cardstock is not SU!, but I did use the 'You're the Icing on the Cake' stamp from SU!'s 'Eight Great Greetings' set.  The paper stuffed inside of the bag is SU!'s Real Red and Barely Banana.  I sliced the paper into strips and then crimped them.

First Stamping Class

Last night I held my first card making/stamping class. Twelve people attended my class and each person made two cards. (Pictured below) I had a really great time teaching and I am thinking of putting more classes together. Beth had a really great idea for a class called "May Flowers." I thought that was such a clever idea & I was thinking of modeling a class based off of her idea. (Thanks Beth!)

I'm also working on putting together a make-n-take for D & L Camp WannaCropAlot's crop on April 24th & 25th. (There are still seats available if anyone wants to attend!) This will be the first crop I'm participating in, and I'm very excited to be represnting Stampin' Up! If anyone has ever participated in a crop as a vendor I would love to hear about your experience(s)!

I hope everyone has a great Easter! I will be going out to breakfast with my family and then having dinner with my boyfriend & his family.

Thanks so so much for stopping by & leaving all the wonderful comments. :)

SCS Challenge

I took the Splitcoaststampers Challenge on Monday - (TLC215). This was such a fun card to make! It orginially was created as a "Flower Pot Card" but I decided to do my own spin on it. I used Stampin' Up!'s "Congrats" set from Sale-a-Bration for the front of the card. The stars were cut out with my Cricut, and Basic Black/Whisper White cardstock were used for the bases of the card.

Scrapbooking!

One of my best friend's birthdays is tomorrow, and I have been working on a mini album to give to her on her special day. Us girls always scrapbook and make cards together, and equally love creating things. The one thing we always talk about is making an album of "us girls" but have never gotten around to it. Soo... I thought this was the perfect present! Pictured below are two simple pages I made. The page titled "Forever Friends" is the first page, and is our favorite picture of the three of us together. It was taken when we went on vacation as a group with our boyfriends last summer. (What a memorable trip, and one of the greatest memories I have!)

Tonight I will be scrapbook with the girls, along with a woman we work with. She wants to make a scrapbook for her husband for Easter. He is an avid fisherman, and she has SO many pictures of trips he has taken over the years. She asked if we could show her "how it's done" lol. I'm going to be bringing some SU! sets along, and maybe if she likes them enough she'll book a workshop! *fingers crossed*

April Fools :)

I had my first workshop on Sunday!! It went SO well, and I am so excited about it! I had nine people come to the workshop, all of them being my friends or family. We made three very basic cards (pictured below) and everyone seemed to have a really great time. ( Even my grandma, who has never stamped before, LOVED how easy it was! :) )

Besides being April Fool's Day today, Stampin' Up! has come out with their Occasions Mini Catalog.
