Happy [Late] Mother's Day!

I hope all of the Mom's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day with their families! I just wanted to share a quick post of a gift I had made for my mom. It's a picture of my sister and I that we took together while on a family trip in NYC.

I used the Eyelet Border Punch for the top and bottom of the frame. I used Barely Banana cardstock to mat my picture and distressed it with Chocolate Chip ink. The word 'Sisters' is made of vinyl and was cut with the Cricut, as well as the butterfly. I put a few little stones in the frame to add a special touch.

My mom LOVED the frame and she also LOVED the scrapbook I made of my sister. I love my Mommy. :)

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day! :)

Pocket of Sillhouettes

A woman at work is getting married & I offered to make her Thank You cards for her Bridal Shower. She chose the stamp set (Pocket of Sillhouettes) and said that she would like them to be purple and green. I made four different samples for her to choose from.

I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I can't wait to see which one she picks! :)

Non SU! Layouts

For Mother's Day I thought I would surprise my mom with a scrapbook of my sister. My sister was born in 1997 and my mom has never put together a book for her. So, I thought what better way to surprise my mom than to make a scrapbook for her that she would never expect! The only SU! product I used was Chocolate Chip ink to distress the edges of the pages. I can't wait to give this to her on Sunday!

Crop Success! :)

Good morning! :)
Friday and Saturday I was a Stampin' Up! vendor at D&L Camp WannaCropAlot. I had a great time and met some really great people! Thanks so much to Darlene and Laura for letting me be a part of their crop. (See you in June!)

I was inspired to make these two cards from a card I had seen on SCS. Simple, easy, & quick. The images on the card were stamped from the 'Holiday Blitz' stamp set & the definitions are from the 'Define Your Life' stamp set. (LOVE that set.. comes in handy for so many different projects!)

Paper: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip, White gel pen
Paper: Certinley Celery, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Box in a Bag

I made this cute little bag by following the 'Box in a Bag' tutorial on SCS.  Inside, I put a gift card for a friend for her birthday.  The patterned cardstock is not SU!, but I did use the 'You're the Icing on the Cake' stamp from SU!'s 'Eight Great Greetings' set.  The paper stuffed inside of the bag is SU!'s Real Red and Barely Banana.  I sliced the paper into strips and then crimped them.

First Stamping Class

Last night I held my first card making/stamping class. Twelve people attended my class and each person made two cards. (Pictured below) I had a really great time teaching and I am thinking of putting more classes together. Beth had a really great idea for a class called "May Flowers." I thought that was such a clever idea & I was thinking of modeling a class based off of her idea. (Thanks Beth!)

I'm also working on putting together a make-n-take for D & L Camp WannaCropAlot's crop on April 24th & 25th. (There are still seats available if anyone wants to attend!) This will be the first crop I'm participating in, and I'm very excited to be represnting Stampin' Up! If anyone has ever participated in a crop as a vendor I would love to hear about your experience(s)!

I hope everyone has a great Easter! I will be going out to breakfast with my family and then having dinner with my boyfriend & his family.

Thanks so so much for stopping by & leaving all the wonderful comments. :)
